We feel the unit priced furnished is valued at 1200 and the remaining 250.00 is for all the utilities included. We also ask for 800.00 deposit at signing of contract and we will hold the space for one month for 400 and not charge a cleaning fee at the end. If rented for 2 months or less, we charge a 200.00 cleaning fee. Commitments longer than 6 months, we can negotiate a fairer rate per month.

Description

This is the basement apartment of our single family home located in Stone Mountain near Avondale Estates/Decatur GA. The apartment was recently added in 2023 and is all new construction--feels like an upscale hotel with white bed linens. The unit has a private entrance and full privacy with outdoor sitting area and BBQ. The house sits near a small lake that reflects light to create a relaxing, calm environment. there are 2 queen beds, a living area, small dinette and full kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, range and microwave. large TV in living area and one small TV in one bedroom area. The bathroom das shower stall only with wide vanity and Washer/Dryer in bath closet. The interior vibe is fun and hip.

The Utilities, Internet and WiFi are included in the price. The bathroom has sufficient bath towels, robe, blow-dryer and extra bed linen. There are additional bedding and throws for watching TV. Ceiling van is located in the living area but adjacent is the open plan queen bed. There is a dedicated desk with copier and scanner all located near the dinette set for 4 and the gally kitchen. The kitchen is also fixed with plates, silver, glasses, coffee make and pots, pans and utensils.

We allow for one car to park in the driveway-if there are 2, one would have to park on the street. It's a quiet neighborhood. And the unit stays quiet as well with the new double-paned windows. The apartment was permitted by the city for zoning and safety.

Also, our guest is welcome to enjoy the firepit overlooking the lake and just relax in the beautiful landscape that is always being improved. The unit sits near our Japanese garden with it's stunning red Japanese-maple. the remaining garden highlights a hydrangea garden and woodland plantings that create a natural habitat for birds, butterflies and bees. A majority of the planting are dedicated to nurturing natural inhabitants.

Our goal is to host rather than rent. We see ourselves as Air B & B owners where the comfort and experience is direct to please the renter. My partner and I share the main house with our dog Suki. She's friendly and loves attention and will not shy away from guests. She's 80 pounds of sweetness. Guest will find her roaming the back of the property throughout the day-when the weather is good, Suki enjoys more time outside. you will find me outside as well maintaining the plantings, watering in the summer and just keeping the space tidy for our guests.

If there are any amenities that are missing that you need, we will do our best to provide those needed essentials.
